Trainee aircraft collides with runway wall during landing in UP, pilot safe

The aircraft, belonging to Pioneer Aviation Company , collided with the runway wall while landing at the Dhanipur airstrip.

A training aircraft crashed into the airport wall during landing in Uttar Pradeh's Aligarh on Sunday.

At that time, trainee pilot Parv Jain was present in the aircraft. Although the aircraft suffered damage, the pilot came out safely.

The aircraft, belonging to Pioneer AV Aviation Company, was flying at the Dhanipur airstrip. At around 3:10 in the afternoon, when the pilot was about to land the aircraft, the plane collided with the boundary wall of the airport and was damaged. The trainee pilot managed to jump off the plane and saved himself. Airport authority officials are investigating the incident.

The aircraft was badly damaged in the incident. Following the accident, airport authority officials and administration immediately arrived at the spot.

Director of Civil Aviation Department SS Agarwal, confirming the incident, said, "At 3:10pm, a plane of Pioneer Flying Academy PNH in which a student was flying solo, crashed into the boundary wall during landing. The student is safe and the rest of the further action is underway."
