Sonam Kapoor has shared the first glimpse of her newborn son on Instagram, a week after welcoming her second child with husband Anand Ahuja on March 29, 2026. In the picture, the actor is seen lying on a hospital bed and gently holding her baby close, with the newborn wrapped in a white cloth. She also posted another hospital moment, giving fans an, intimate look at life after delivery.
Along with the photographs, Sonam expressed deep gratitude for the care she received during childbirth. She thanked HN Reliance Hospital for what she called an exceptional experience and also praised her OBGYN, Dr Avaan Dadina, for guiding her through both pregnancies with calm and reassurance. In her post, she wrote that she felt “grateful beyond words.”
The post came shortly after Sonam and Anand announced the birth of their baby boy with a heartfelt message that also included a sweet note about their elder son, Vayu, being happy to welcome his little brother. The couple said their family had grown in “the most beautiful way” and described this new phase as a fresh chapter as a family of four.
