Patna, 11th December, 2025: The Patna Book Fair 2025 witnessed a remarkable display of innovation and young enterprise as Jaano Junction hosted its much-anticipated EPIC BizChamps — Inter School Business Idea Pitch Competition at the Vyasa Stage on Wednesday. Students from several leading schools across Patna and neighbouring regions presented business ideas that blended creativity with practical, real-world solutions.
The event featured an expert jury comprising Mr. Vikas Kumar (Managing Director, Jitban Supply Chain) and Prof. Amitabh Pandey (Professor & Head of Communication Design, Anant National University). Both jurors not only evaluated the pitches but also guided students on market feasibility, presentation strategy and the broader impact of their ideas.
In an unprecedented moment for the Book Fair and Jaano Junction’s stage, both jury members made special announcements inspired by the students' performance.
Mr. Vikas Kumar offered internships at Jitban Supply Chain to deserving participants, while Prof. Amitabh Pandey announced opportunity to get scholarships for needy and performative students to pursue studies in sustainable fashion and design at Anant National University — a first-of-its-kind opportunity at the fair.
Winner Team:
Divya Singh and Sunriti Verma (St. Joseph’s Convent High School)
Idea: Sizzling Sphere – A Self-Heating Lunch Box
Their concept focused on convenience and energy efficiency, offering a modern solution to a common everyday need.
Runner-Up Teams (Two declared this year):
Ayushman Gupta, Shaurya Raj Singh and Prateek Mittal (St. Michael’s High School)
Idea: Prakritayah
A venture aimed at increasing the shelf life and value of water chestnut (singhada) through innovative product diversification.
Riddhi Mishra, Tamanna Rani and Nancy Kumari (BD Public School)
Idea: Eco-Thrift – Sustainable Fashion by Thrifting
Their model promoted environment-friendly fashion choices and circular economy practices.
The competition stood out for its emphasis on socially and environmentally responsible innovation. Ideas ranged from sustainable fashion to food-based product innovation and everyday tech solutions.
Jaano Junction CEO Kshitij Choudhary praised the participants, saying:
“EPIC BizChamps aims to create a space where young entrepreneurs can think, experiment and shape their ideas into investment-ready concepts. Today’s students proved that meaningful, practical and socially conscious innovation can begin at school itself.”

Students can participate via on-spot registration at 10:30 AM at Gandhi Maidan.
Alongside these, activities such as debates, business pitch sessions and the Festival of Bands will also be held as part of the ongoing EPIC lineup.
