The ongoing Patna Book Fair 2025 at Gandhi Maidan witnessed an inspiring display of creativity on Wednesday as Jaano Junction’s EPIC Show hosted the EPIC Kahanikar – Story Writing Competition in both English and Hindi. More than 45 schools from Patna and surrounding areas participated, turning the Vyasa Stage into a vibrant hub of imagination, expression, and literary talent.

The competition, aimed at nurturing young storytellers, saw enthusiastic participation from students across age groups who showcased remarkable originality, emotional depth, and narrative flair.

Renowned author Dr. Kumar Vimlendu Singh served as the jury for the event. Throughout the competition, he offered valuable insights on the craft of storytelling, encouraging students to think deeply, express clearly, and elevate the impact of their narratives. His presence added a touch of literary gravitas to the event and motivated the participants to refine their creative voices.

Two central themes guided the contest this year:

  • “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

  • “मन के हारे हार है, मन के जीते जीत”

The themes were unveiled by Patna’s well-known bookseller and Managing Director of Sam Book Store, Alvin Samuel Patole, who also partnered with the event as a supporter.

Over 250 students showcased their storytelling talent at Jaano Junction’s EPIC Kahanikar during the Patna Book Fair 2025, with themes inspiring resilience and determination.

Students presented stories filled with motivation, imagination, and emotion, transforming the venue into a lively space of ideas and literary expression. Organizers announced that the results of the competition will be declared on December 15, 2025 on Jaano Junction’s official website www.jaanojunction.com and across its social media platforms.

The EPIC Show at the Patna Book Fair continues to host a series of engaging contests in the coming days. This includes EPIC Kalakar (Painting Competition) on December 13 and the EPIC Reels Challenge on December 15. Students interested in participating can register on the spot at the book fair venue at 10:30 AM.

Alongside these, other activities such as Debate, Business Idea Pitch, and Festival of Bands are also drawing strong interest from young participants, making the EPIC Show one of the most vibrant attractions of this year’s Patna Book Fair.
