Indian cricketer and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma’s husband Virat Kohli is back in the headlines. Alas, for all the wrong reasons. Once again, Kohli has grabbed everyone’s attention for allegedly liking somebody’s bold photo on social media. On Thursday night, users claimed that Virat has reportedly liked one of German influencer Lizzalazz’s pictures on Instagram.

The ‘like’ has once again sparked a discussion online, even though it remains unclear if Kohli liked it accidentally or if it is an algorithm glitch. Joking about it, one of the Reddit users wrote, “Anushka will be very upset." Another user suggested Virat make another private Instagram account: “cheeku bhai private id bnalo.." A third user took a dig at Kohli and called it a “mistakenly registered interaction".

When Kohli ‘Liked’ Avneet Kaur’s Photo

Last year, some fans noticed that Virat Kohli had ‘liked’ one of Avneet Kaur’s Instagram posts. As the internet broke into a meme fest, Virat Kohli issued a clarification, blaming the app’s algorithm. He wrote, “I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made." However, Virat’s explanation only added fuel to the fire.

Later, Avneet also reacted to the controversy. During the trailer launch of her film Love In Vietnam, the actress was asked about receiving attention and appreciation from big names online. With a smile, she responded, “May the love keep coming."

Virat Kohli Is Married To Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met in 2013 while shooting for a television commercial. The two fell in love with each other but kept their relationship under wraps. In 2017, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl in January 2021 and named her Vamika. Later in February 2024, they became proud parents to a baby boy and named in Akaay.
