Apart from being one of the most successful cricketers of all time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is also respected for his grounded and humble demeanour . The batsman never fails to inspire people with his hard work and down-to-earth personality, which we have seen glimpses of on numerous occasions. Moving on to MS Dhoni's personal biography, everyone is aware that he was born on July 7, 1981, in Ranchi to a middle-class family.

Dhoni was born in Ranchi, Bihar (now Jharkhand) to a Hindu Rajput household and Uttarakhand-born parents. He is the youngest of Pan Singh and Devaki Devi's three children. His paternal village, Lwali, is located in the Jainti Tehsil, Lamgara Block of Uttarakhand's Almora District.

Previously, Dhoni was the custodian for his DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir school's football team, but coach Keshav Ranjan Banerjee, who had a huge influence on Dhoni's decision to become a cricketer, picked him to play cricket instead. Because of his exceptional wicketkeeping ability, he was able to take over as the Commando Cricket Club's regular wicketkeeper (1995-1998).
