First batch of Jaano Junction’s Filmmaking Workshop successfully completed in June, 2023. It was part of Radiant International School Patna’s 10-days Summer Camp ‘Srijan’ where students from class 4 to 9 participated.
The filmmaking workshop was curated by Jaano Junction’s CEO Kshitij Choudhary and Cannes winner Salman Mozaffar.
This film titled 'KICKSTART' was written, shot and edited by the students during the workshop, within the school premises, in less than 5 days. During the period, students were equipped with the learnings of basic to intermediate filmmaking theories along with practical exposure.
Jaano Junction's Director and Editor-in-chief Dr Pooja Varma expressed, "I am delighted to see the work done by the students of our first batch of filmmaking workshop. Jaano Junction stands for giving platform and tools for young generation to become change-makers." She further said, "Be it filmmaking, writing, storytelling, citizen journalism or more, our expert mentors enable the youth to be more participative so that they can further express their imagination and creativity; and also use the power of Internet in a more productive manner."
