Devina Gahlot, daughter of BJP MLA and former Delhi minister Kailash Gahlot, has secured All India Rank 1 in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026, emerging as the highest scorer in the country.

According to the National Testing Agency's list of top-performing candidates, Devina achieved an aggregate NTA score of 1232.19, placing her at the top of the national rankings for undergraduate admissions.

The achievement quickly drew attention on social media, with students, educators and political leaders congratulating the young achiever for her performance in one of India's largest entrance examinations.

Kailash Gahlot Celebrates Daughter's Achievement

Sharing the news on X, Kailash Gahlot expressed pride in his daughter's accomplishment and credited her success to years of dedication and consistent effort.

"With immense pride and gratitude, we share that our younger daughter, Devina Gahlot, has secured All India Rank 1 in CUET (UG) 2026," he wrote.

Calling the result a reflection of her discipline and perseverance, Gahlot said the achievement was the outcome of hard work, determination and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The BJP leader also acknowledged the role played by teachers, mentors and family members in Devina's academic journey. He thanked the faculty and staff of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, for guiding and encouraging her, while also appreciating the support provided by his wife Moushumi and elder daughter Jahnavi.

In his message, Gahlot described the moment as a proud milestone for the family and wished Devina continued success in the years ahead.

One of India's Biggest Entrance Exams

CUET-UG has become the primary gateway for admission to undergraduate courses in central universities and several other higher education institutions across the country.

According to the NTA, more than 15.68 lakh candidates registered for the 2026 edition of the examination, while over 11.64 lakh students eventually appeared for the test.

The examination was conducted between May 11 and May 31, with an additional phase held on June 6 and June 7 to accommodate candidates. Results were announced on Monday, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of students awaiting admission opportunities for the 2026-27 academic session.
