A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Pakistan on Saturday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 35 kilometres (22 miles), the EMSC said, according to Reuters. Tremors were felt in parts of the country, though there were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage.

Authorities are monitoring the situation and assessing the impact of the quake.
