English pop singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is truly enjoying his India tour. Popular Indian playback singer Arijit Singh took him on a scooter ride in his hometown, Jiaganj, in Murshidabad, West Bengal. A viral video of the two singers enjoying their ride is currently doing the rounds on the Internet. Ed Sheeran ditched his security and spent quality time with Arijit by going on scooter and boat rides.
After Bengaluru cops pulled the plug on Ed Sheeran while busking, he was seen with Arijit Singh in West Bengal. Many local residents were shocked to see Sheeran without any security.
Ed Sheeran and Arijit Singh have been good friends ever since they shared the stage in London in September 2024. The two sang each other's hit numbers. After Sheeran's Bengaluru concert, he visited Singh at his hometown, Jiaganj, in West Bengal.
Reportedly, Sheeran spent nearly five hours in Jiaganj, where they went on boat and scooter rides.
Ahead of his Bengaluru concert, Sheeran surprised Bengaluru with an impromptu performance on Church Street. However, his performance was stopped mid-way by the police. However, Sheeran clarified that he had permission to busk on Church Street. Later, during the concert, Sheeran took everyone by surprise when he sang Chuttamalle (Telugu song from Jr NTR's Devara) with singer Shilpa Rao.
Sheeran completed two concerts in Hyderabad and Chennai. He will be performing in Shillong on February 12 and Delhi-NCR on February 15.
