Valentine’s Day just got a lot more dramatic… at least on paper. From inside a Delhi jail, alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has claimed he has gifted actor Jacqueline Fernandez a customised helicopter worth around Rs 30 crore, along with yet another emotional letter addressed to her.
Sukesh, who is currently lodged in Delhi’s Mandoli jail in connection with a Rs 200-crore money-laundering case, shared details of the extravagant present in a handwritten note sent on Valentine’s Day. In the letter, he referred to the actor as his “botta bomma" (beautiful doll), a term he has repeatedly used for her in past correspondence.
“Baby, I’ve arranged a special gift that befits the queen you are," he wrote, revealing that the present was allegedly a customised Airbus H-Series helicopter.
According to Sukesh, the aircraft features specially designed interiors bearing Jacqueline’s initials, JF. He further claimed that the helicopter complements other luxury assets — including a yacht and a jet — that he says he had earlier gifted her.
The Airbus H-Series includes several models with varying price tags. Smaller single-engine variants such as the H125 are priced at approximately $3 million (around Rs 27.17 crore). Larger and more advanced helicopters, including the H225, can cost upwards of $30 million. Other popular models in the range include the H135, estimated at about $6 million, the H145 at roughly $12 million, and the H160, which is priced between $14 million and $20 million depending on specifications and customisation.
In his Valentine’s Day message, Sukesh expressed his longing in emotional terms. “As the world bathes in the Soft Glow of Valentine’s Day, it feels incomplete without you beside me. My heart aches with an intensity that words can scarcely capture. Every heartbeat of mine Especially today, reminds me of the distance between us and every breath carries your name."
He continued, “Here I am separated from you by these cold walls, iron cars, missing you like a man lost in the desert. Every moment without your radiant smile, your gentle touch, your laughter, echoes like music in my dreams. Baby, I miss you in ways words struggle to explain."
He added that he wished to hold her close and whisper to her “under a canopy of stars," before asserting, “No matter what hits us, nothing can or could break our love for each other."
This is not the first time Sukesh has written to the actor from prison. He has previously sent similar letters on occasions such as New Year’s, reiterating his claims about their relationship.
Jacqueline Fernandez, however, has consistently maintained that she is innocent and has no involvement in the ongoing investigation related to Sukesh. Her legal representatives have previously stated that she has no connection to the alleged financial crimes under probe.
As of now, the actor has not issued any public statement responding to Sukesh’s latest claims about the helicopter gift.
