The trailer brings back Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar and Tabu as Meera Deshmukh, while introducing Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj as two major new forces closing in on Vijay and his family.

Meera Is No Longer Looking For Just Justice

The biggest shift in the trailer is Tabu’s Meera.

After years of trying to establish Vijay’s involvement in her son’s death, Meera appears to have moved beyond simply seeking justice. This time, she wants revenge.

And she is not coming alone.

Jaideep Ahlawat enters the franchise as a powerful Crime Branch SP, bringing a fresh investigative threat to Vijay’s carefully constructed story. The trailer makes it clear that this is not going to be another straightforward cat-and-mouse chase.

Jaideep Ahlawat Is The New Problem

Ahlawat's character appears to be one of the biggest additions to the franchise.

While Vijay has previously managed to stay several steps ahead of the investigation, the new Crime Branch officer seems determined to dismantle the entire cover-up and find the evidence that can finally bring the Salgaonkar family to justice.

The trailer also features Prakash Raj, adding another layer to the investigation and raising the stakes around Vijay's survival.

Vijay Has One Last Plan

For Vijay, protecting his family remains the priority.

But the trailer suggests that his legendary ability to stay ahead of the police may finally be running out.

The familiar Salgaonkar family returns, including Shriya Saran as Nandini, while Vijay once again finds himself forced to think several moves ahead.

But this time, even he seems unsure whether planning alone will be enough.

The trailer's central question is simple: What will Vijay Salgaonkar do this time?

October 2 Release

Drishyam: The Conclusion is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026 — a date that has repeatedly carried significance within the franchise's storyline.

The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also directed Drishyam 2.

With Tabu seeking revenge, Jaideep Ahlawat hunting for evidence and Prakash Raj adding another formidable presence, Vijay Salgaonkar's biggest problem may not be hiding the truth anymore.

It may be surviving long enough to keep it hidden.
