Patna: Young swimmers from St. Xavier’s High School, Patna, put up a strong performance at the CISCE Regional Swimming Competition, held today at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, returning with an impressive collection of medals across different age categories.
The school’s strongest performances came from Mitul Kumar and Shourya Raj, who dominated their respective categories to win three Gold medals each. Mitul competed in the Under-17 Boys category, while Shourya represented the Under-14 Boys contingent.
The Under-17 Boys team continued its impressive run through the competition. Shreshth Bhardwaj secured two Gold and one Silver medal, while Vedant Pandey added two Gold medals to the school’s tally.
Praneel Anushtubh also delivered a notable performance, winning one Gold and two Silver medals. Ishan Vaibhav contributed two more Silver medals in the Under-17 Boys category.
The school’s Under-14 swimmers also made their mark at the regional championship. Ranveer Singh won two Bronze medals in the Under-14 Boys category, while Fatima Jamal secured a Bronze medal in the Under-14 Girls category.
With medals across all three podium positions, the performance marked a successful outing for St. Xavier’s High School, Patna, at the regional level. The young swimmers’ performances showcased their competitive spirit, discipline and preparation as they took on participants from across the CISCE region.
The medal-winning performances have added another achievement to the school’s sporting record, while giving its young athletes a strong platform to build on in the competitions ahead.
