Lionel Messi continued to make a historical Saturday. Extending his record streak of multiple goal games as he scored twice in Inter Miami's 2-1 win over Nashville Sc, with his performance. Messi once again made history — becoming the first player to score multiple goals in four consecutive MLS matches. The Argentine legend continues his electric form as Inter Miami climbs up the Eastern Conference standings, following their return from the Club World Cup break.

Handed Nashville SC, its first loss ended their winning streak since 19 April.  With the win at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Inter Miami (11-3-5, 38 points ) . 

MLS - Messi’s domination continues and the club shines 

Messi now has 23 goal contributions in this league with Saturday’s brace having 16 goals and 7 assists. Won 5 straight MLS matches and remained unbeaten against Nashville (4 - 0 - 1).

This victory marked their third win in a row, since the FIFA World Cup exit to Paris Saint Germain on June 29 - a loss that seemed only to have sharpened their domestic focus.
