Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will hold her maiden roadshow in Delhi on Saturday to campaign for AAP Lok Sabha candidates. Sunita Kejriwal will begin her campaign with a roadshow in the East Delhi constituency, Delhi Minister Atishi has announced.
The AAP is contesting the Lok Sabha polls in Delhi in alliance with the Congress. The party has fielded its candidates in East Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi and New Delhi seats.
With AAP's campaign in the doldrums, Sunita Kejriwal will spearhead the party's rallies and public gatherings in Punjab, Gujarat and Haryana as well.
Sunita Kejriwal has been slowly assuming a bigger role in the AAP following the arrest of her husband Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi liquor policy case. The AAP supremo is presently lodged in Tihar Jail.
