Actor Ajaz Khan faces a fresh FIR at Mumbai's Charkop police station after a woman alleged that he raped her on the pretext of marriage and a role on his show 'House Arrest'. This comes as the second blow to the actor who's already facing an FIR for his show 'House Arrest' for inappropriate content. As per India Today sources, a separate rape case was registered against him on May 5.

Based on the complaint of the actor, Charkop Police filed a rape case against Khan, while a further probe is underway.

According to the survivor, Khan had called her to offer her the role of a host in his show 'House Arrest'. During the shoot, he first proposed to her, and later went to her home, where he allegedly raped her against her will.

Following the incident, she lodged a formal complaint at the Charkop Police Station. The police have registered the case under Sections 64, 64(2M), 69, and 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Khan could now be arrested by the police at any time.
