A speeding Scorpio SUV hit a schoolgirl in Gurugram, leaving her seriously injured. The incident occurred in the Adarsh Nagar area when the girl was on her way to school on a scooter.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the schoolgirl was dragged for a considerable distance on the road. She was rushed to a hospital and is currently admitted in critical condition.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the locality. The footage shows the speeding Scorpio hitting the schoolgirl inside the colony lanes before crashing into building materials lying on the road.

Residents attempted to help the injured girl and tried to stop the vehicle, but before assistance could reach her and the driver could be restrained, the occupants of the Scorpio fled the spot.
