Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 jolts Nepal, tremors felt in parts of Delhi, NCR and UP

Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR after 4.4 quake occurred in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR after 4.4 quake occurred in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh. The epicentre has been located in Haridwar.

National Center for Seismology tweeted that the quake was measure 4.4 on richter scale and occurred on today at around 13:30:23 IST.

A few minutes later, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter Scale hit Bajura, Nepal around 1:45 pm today, said Nepal's National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center.

The tremors were felt in parts of the Delhi-NCR region as well.
