The Indian Consulate in Jeddah has expressed condolences after nine Indians died in a road accident near Jizan, in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the consulate assured full support to the affected families and confirmed that it is in touch with both local authorities and the victims' relatives.

"Our heartfelt condolences to the families affected. The Consulate General of India in Jeddah is providing full support and remains in contact with the authorities and families. We also wish a speedy recovery to the injured. A dedicated helpline has been set up for further queries," the consulate stated.
