Triptii Dimri REVEALS Why She Agreed For Sex Scenes With Ranbir Kapoor in Animal

JJ News Desk

Triptii Dimri’s intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal invited a lot of attention as well as criticism. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about how she was not affected by the trolling that came her way after the release of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

Triptii, whose popularity grew massively after Animal released, revealed that she decided to do the film because she found her cameo “interesting”. “I know my reasons for doing the film. Sandeep sir (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) was clear that it was going to be a small role, but I found the character interesting. If we start making decisions based on what audiences are going to say, then as actors, we won’t ever be able to do what we want to do,” Triptii told Vogue India.

Triptii, who impressed the audiences with her acting prowess in Laila Majnu and Bulbbul, continued, “I want to choose roles that push me out of my comfort zone. There’s a lot of advice on offer and I listen to it all, but it comes down to instinct. I might make mistakes along the way, but I’m allowed to.”

In the same interview, Triptii revealed that her parents were ‘taken aback’ after watching her intimate scenes. She recalled, “My parents were completely rattled when they saw it. We had to have a long discussion on why that scene was crucial.” However, the actress also added that she was aware her parents were proud of her. Triptii shared another instance that happened soon after the release of her debut film Laila Majnu. His father had called her on stage after a family event, “He just wanted to show off, but I went blank. That’s how afraid I was. It’s taken a lot of time for me to get used to being in the public eye,” she stated.
