Salman Khan has allegedly intervened to defuse tension between Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar as Bollywood buzz around Don 3 grows.
Even though people in the industry have been talking about it, Salman Khan is said to be trying to stop it from getting worse and turning into a public issue.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan contacted Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar separately to help cool things down and push for the matter to be sorted privately.
People close to the situation say he’s stepping in because he cares about both their working relationships and how long-running disputes can affect the industry.
A Bollywood Hungama source said,"Salman Khan is fond of Ranveer Singh, and is equally fond of the Akhtars too. He picked up the call on both the stakeholders, and has asked them to resolve their issues without hurting the future of their respective projects. He explained to Farhan about creative differences being a common thing in the industry for decades, and he also had a long chat with Ranveer, understanding his stance. He is playing the cupid to ensure that no one feels sabotaged."
Basically, it’s about creative differences on Don 3 that’s got fans and the industry buzzing.
Salman Khan is reportedly reminding them that disagreements like this are common in filmmaking and don’t have to ruin long-term work ties or friendships.
The source also said Salman advised them to think like part of the same industry and to work together on a future project once the tension dies down.
Sources also say Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar are taking the advice to heart and are now trying to work things out directly and peacefully.
Salman Khan reportedly doesn’t want outsiders or legal action involved, and prefers the issue be sorted out directly by those concerned.
While mediating, Salman Khan is also said to be backing Farhan Akhtar during the shaky phase of Don 3, and pushing Ranveer Singh to take on new projects after the success of Dhurandhar.
People in the industry think he just wants to help both move on without extra stress or bad blood.
