Former costars Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester had a Gossip Girl reunion on Thursday, April 23, when they both attended the Falconeri Dinner celebrating the Ultrafine Cashmere Collection in Los Angeles.

The pair, who played Nate Archibald and Blair Waldorf on The CW show for six seasons, were all smiles as they posed for a series of poolside photos at the event at Getty House.

Crawford and Meester, both 40, were also joined by Crawford's girlfriend, Kelsey Merritt, whom The Boys star confirmed he was dating in April 2025 when the couple were spotted kissing in New York City.

For the dinner, Meester star wore a black sweater and matching slip skirt, accessorizing with a pair of hoop earrings and a red lip. Crawford, meanwhile, sported a taupe sweater beneath a gray pinstripe jacket, along with gray pants and white sneakers.

The reunion came 19 years after the former on-screen love interests first starred opposite one another in Gossip Girl's first season, which debuted in 2007. The hit series ended in December 2012.

In June 2025, Crawford revealed to PEOPLE that he and Meester actually had a chance run-in at a Beyoncé concert, and then went for lunch together. “I ended up at a Beyoncé concert, don't ask me how, but I was there with someone and [Leighton] ended up sitting right next to me,” he shared. “She's like, ‘What are you doing here?' And it was so loud. We were trying to catch up. I was like, ‘Look, we're going to lunch or something. We've got to actually catch up properly.' ”

“So two days later, we went to a late breakfast and we ended up hanging out for three hours, catching up,” he continued of their reunion. “You realize as you get older, too, oh my God, these people were such a specific relationship. We went through this crazy thing together. It's a special thing in life to be able to reconnect now that we're all older and view it from a different lens from afar and so far removed.”

Crawford said that he “just loved” all of his castmates. “I had such a good relationship with each one and friendship with Blake [Lively], Ed [Westwick], Leighton, Penn [Badgeley], Taylor [Momsen], and the rest. Everyone on the show, even from the day players to the supporting, it was such a great experience.”

The Gen V star also shared how the cast continues to be incredibly supportive of one another behind the scenes. “It's been great. It's been so fun for me to watch,” he said of celebrating his former costars' milestone moments. “Especially Penn [Badgley] with his show [You], we did an Actors on Actors a few years ago, and just to see him promoted and see little clips of him, he looks the same.”

“I still see Jess [Szohr]. I went to her wedding and I'll see her this summer on a trip,” he said at the time, adding, “It's kind of like college. Everyone goes in their separate places, and you connect when you do.”

While Crawford has taken on darker, more comedic roles like The Deep in Prime Video's The Boys since Gossip Girl, Meester has had various roles in comedies, including How I Met Your FatherNobody Wants This and I Love LA.
