Patna (Bihar): Prarambhika World School hosted an engaging edition of The Great Debate League 2026 on May 2, bringing together some of the brightest young minds from across schools for a day of thought-provoking discussions and spirited argumentation.

The event provided a vibrant platform for students to articulate their ideas with clarity, confidence, and conviction, while honing essential skills in public speaking and critical thinking. Participants showcased not only their command over language but also their ability to analyse complex societal issues from multiple perspectives.

At the heart of the competition was a timely and relevant motion: “Education should be a mandatory requirement for candidates contesting elections.” Debaters presented compelling arguments both in favour of and against the proposition, leading to a dynamic exchange of ideas that kept the audience deeply engaged.

The competition was judged by Kshitij Choudhary, Founder & CEO of Jaano Junction, who evaluated participants on the basis of content, delivery, and overall impact. Following a closely contested round, the winners were announced:

1st Position: Ishan Bhardwaj – Radiant International School

2nd Position: Vanshika Sinha – Prarambhika World School

3rd Position: Saraha Vinayan – Radiant International School

Prarambhika World School Principal, Ritu Srivats, expressed her pride in the participants and the spirit of the event, stating that platforms like The Great Debate League play a crucial role in shaping confident, aware, and articulate individuals. She emphasised that encouraging students to engage with real-world issues at an early stage not only strengthens their critical thinking but also nurtures responsible future citizens.

The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, accompanied by words of appreciation for all participants, mentors, and organisers who contributed to the event’s success.

More than just a competition, The Great Debate League 2026 stood as a celebration of youthful expression, intellectual curiosity, and the spirit of healthy dialogue—reinforcing the importance of nurturing informed and articulate future citizens.
