Neglected Neighborhoods: An Open Letter to Patna's Elected Representatives | Sadda Haq - Letter To My MP

Chaitali Sengupta Roy

I'm writing this short rant to bring attention of the administration, MLA Bankipur Nitin Nabin and MP Patna Sahib Ravi Shankar Prasad to my neglected neighborhood.

The roads near Dinkar Golumbar of Rajendra Nagar are in super bad shape. Umpteen times I have spoken to the ward councillor but the matter is always ignored.

Secondly, what civic amenities have been provided to the citizens of your constituency? You may name many but I'm sure you're not aware of the conditions of any. And if you're already aware of this and yet not paying attention to your own constituency then us citizens also know when not to pay attention to the "promises" made to us.

In the heart of Patna, your constituency is the dirtiest of the constituencies. Waterlogging, disrupted roads, unhygienic neighborhood, and much more.

You have never found out the plight of the people living in and around Salimpur Ahra.

With this open letter, I hope that I reach to you and convey what YOUR people are suffering from. The same 'people' that you're expecting to give you votes again. Please give us enough reasons to and we just may.

Demand Sadda Haq!
Whether you wish to highlight pressing issues like healthcare, education, or infrastructure, or simply share your personal story and perspective, your letter has the power to spark meaningful change.
