Patna, Bihar: As the summer sun blazes relentlessly, obtaining food might be manageable, but access to water becomes a formidable challenge. This need is felt acutely not just by humans, but by the countless voiceless creatures who desperately crave a drop of water. Recognizing this, Team Damshi Aadishakti have shouldered the responsibility of providing water to these beings, seeing it as a human duty.
Since January 5, 2022, Damshi Aadishakti and team have been committed to aiding the needy across various fields. Their efforts range from helping helpless people, planting trees, and offering free education, to supporting animals and birds, and focusing on child welfare. Their unwavering commitment has seen them exert their full potential to bring about positive change.
On June 14, 2024, continuing their mission, the team distributed earthen pots, or matkas, to the community. This act was aimed at encouraging people to place these pots filled with water on their rooftops, corridors, or outside their homes, ensuring that animals and birds have access to water. The initiative sought to spread awareness that, like humans, all living beings have a fundamental need for water. It is our responsibility to meet this need for the innocent, voiceless creatures.
The community responded with various questions about the purpose and expected impact of this initiative. The team explained that in such extreme summer heat, with temperatures soaring to 40 to 45 degrees Celsius, animals and birds struggle to find adequate water. There are few sources of water in the city, making it a challenge for these creatures to stay hydrated. This small but significant effort by the foundation aims to ensure that every animal and bird can access water, preventing them from suffering due to thirst.
The message to the community is clear and heartfelt - place a small pot of water on your rooftops or windowsills. By doing so, you provide a vital resource to animals and birds, allowing them to enjoy refreshing water even in the intense heat.
