The special ChatGPT Go free deal is now live on ChatGPT web version. This offer is available for anybody using the free ChatGPT version, or have already paid OpenAI for the Go plan in India. Follow these steps to get the free ChatGPT Go plan:
Open ChatGPT on web browser
Click on the Upgrade for free tab at the top of the screen
Select the Go special offer and click on Upgrade to Go
OpenAI will send an OTP to the registered number or email ID for verification
You will see the payment page open where you can enter the card details or UPI ID
Users will be charged Re 0 for the transaction and the Go plan will be activated for 12 months on the account
OpenAI has clearly mentioned that the, “promo pricing applies for 12 months. Starting Nov 4, 2026, ChatGPT Go will continue at Rs 399/month. Cancel anytime." We were independently able to see the free offer on the web version and the mobile app will gradually see the new deal come for users.

You cannot use Sora AI video generation tool
