A man in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district was beaten, stripped, and urinated upon after visiting the home of a widow with whom he was reportedly in a relationship. The incident, which took place on September 24, came to light after a video of the shocking assault circulated widely on social media platforms.
On the day of the incident, the woman allegedly invited Raju Yadav to her house, where he was ambushed by her relatives.
The family members, identified as Satyendra Yadav, Puneet Yadav, Jasvind, Jitendra, and Sumit Yadav, overpowered him and subjected him to multiple forms of humiliating abuse.
They shaved his head, made him sit on a hot iron pan, and then urinated on his face. People present at the scene recorded a video, which has since gone viral on social media.
In response to the footage, police registered a case against all five accused.
While three of the accused have been arrested, a search for the remaining two on the run is currently underway.
