Yoga guru Baba Ramdev said no single political party, opposition group or individual has the capacity to transform the country’s entire system, stressing that systemic change requires collective efforts at social, political and administrative levels.

“It is not within the capacity of any single party, opposition group, or individual to transform the entire nation’s system,” Ramdev said in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur.

He said India’s education and healthcare sectors need to move in the right direction, adding that there are serious questions surrounding both systems that require solutions. He said the government has significant responsibility in addressing these concerns.

Ramdev said awareness needs to be created at three levels, social, political and administrative, to bring about meaningful changes in the country.

He also said movements aimed at protecting the Constitution and democracy should be rooted in constitutional, democratic, ethical, spiritual and human values.

At the same time, Ramdev opposed the use of children in protests, saying young children should not be pushed into such movements. He said there should be no anarchy in the name of protest and children should not be exploited for political or social movements.
