The Israeli military has issued an urgent advisory to people in Iran, asking them to stay away from trains and railway lines for the next 12 hours (9 pm Iranian time), citing safety concerns amid escalating hostilities.

“For your safety, we ask you to refrain from using trains or travelling by train throughout the country from now until 9 pm Iran time," the military wrote on its Persian-language account.

“Your presence on trains and near railway tracks puts your life in danger."

US-Israel Joint Strike On Iran

US-Israeli strikes carried out early Tuesday reportedly destroyed a synagogue in Tehran, according to Iranian media.

Mehr news agency and Shargh daily said the Rafi-Nia Synagogue was “completely destroyed" in the attacks, citing preliminary information.

Judaism is officially recognised in Iran, which still has a small Jewish population, though many members left the country after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Iran Rejects Trump’s Threats

Iran said it would not yield as a US deadline approached for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, rejecting warnings from President Donald Trump of potential large-scale strikes on its infrastructure.

The Iranian army dismissed Trump’s remarks as “arrogant rhetoric and baseless threats," saying operations against US and Israeli forces would continue unabated more than five weeks into the conflict.

Trump has warned that unless Tehran allows free passage through the Strait by midnight GMT Tuesday, the US could launch sweeping strikes targeting critical infrastructure.

“We have a plan… where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o’clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding and never to be used again," Trump said.

“I mean complete demolition by 12 o’clock, and it’ll happen over a period of four hours — if we wanted to," he added, while also referring to the recent US mission to rescue crew members of a downed F-15 fighter jet.
