HYDERABAD: Two coaches of the Falaknuma Express (Train No. 12703), which runs between Secunderabad and Howrah in West Bengal, caught fire on Friday near the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district borders, allegedly due to a short-circuit caused by a battery.

All guests on board were able to disembark safely, and no casualties were reported. The bogies involved were identified as S4, S5, and S6. The fire destroyed the passengers' luggage. The fire tenders hurried to the scene after receiving the information and engaged in rescue operations to put out the fire

The location is around 45 km from Hyderabad. The alert officials immediately stopped the train, and all of the affected bogies were quickly evacuated.
