A late-night argument in Noida’s Gaur City 2 has drawn attention after a woman was seen confronting a man who was allegedly questioning a Muslim couple about their identity in a public area. The woman stepped in after noticing the man repeatedly asking personal questions while holding a beer bottle in his hand.

The clip shows several residents gathering around as the situation becomes tense. Many people standing nearby later appeared to support the couple, while the woman continued recording the exchange and challenged the man over his behaviour.

Woman Questions The Man

The clip opens with the woman pointing her phone at the man and asking, “why are you asking about their identity. Is it because of their outfit?" The man replies, “No."

She quickly responds, “Then you have no right to ask." She then points toward other people nearby and says, “You aren’t asking them?" At the same time, another voice from behind the camera can be heard questioning the man.

He asks why the man was asking whether the woman was married, whether they were friends, or whether they were brother and sister if he truly had no issue with her clothing.

As the argument continues, the woman turns the camera and says, “He is drinking beer right here. You can see the beer. And he is standing right here." The man then says, “Just let me be. I mean, the point is that she is wearing a burqa, isn’t she?" The woman then tells the couple that they can leave the area to avoid further trouble. But the man refuses to back down and says, “No they can’t. I will see how they go."

That statement appears to upset people standing around. Soon, more voices are heard in the background, and several residents seem to come forward in support of the couple as the argument grows louder.

As the clip spread online, many people praised the woman for stepping in. A user wrote, “this area or Noida or Ghaziabad, are one of the most discriminatory urban belts in the country. Muslims aren’t allowed to rent in societies, first thing ppl ask before they greet you is whether you are Muslim. One of many such belts in the north India!"

Another said, “Thank you to this lady for standing up against bigotry. The problem in this country is that low IQ bigots though in a minority are outspoken and hence look like a majority. Just stand up to them and see them run."

“This loser was looking for his 5 minutes of fame…. The lady just cancelled his audition," a person commented. Others also praised the crowd. “I am so proud of the people around and this brave girl who confronted this man," one comment read.
