A major road accident was reported on National Highway 352D in Haryana’s Rewari district on Saturday, after dense fog severely reduced visibility, leading to a collision involving multiple buses.

According to initial information, three to four buses collided with each other in the early hours due to poor visibility caused by heavy fog. The buses were travelling from Rewari towards Jhajjar when the accident occurred.

Sources said several passengers sustained injuries in the crash and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. The exact number of injured is yet to be confirmed.

Police reached the spot soon after the incident and began an investigation. Preliminary assessment suggests low visibility as the primary cause of the accident, though officials said the exact circumstances will be established after enquiry.

MULTI-VEHICLE COLLISION IN GREATER NOIDA, NO CASUALTIES

A multi-vehicle collision involving around half a dozen vehicles was reported on National Highway 91 in Greater Noida on Sunday morning due to dense fog and poor visibility. Several vehicles were damaged in the crash, while a few people sustained minor injuries. Police said there were no fatalities in the accident.

The collision led to a brief traffic jam on the highway. Police personnel reached the spot promptly and worked to clear the congestion, using cranes to remove the damaged vehicles from the road.
