More than 20 schools in Delhi received bomb threats on Friday, triggering panic and prompting the evacuation of students. This was the fourth day of bomb threats targeting over 30 schools in the national capital.

Among the schools that received threatening emails were Richmondd Global School in Paschim Vihar and Abhinav Public School, located in Rohini Sector 3.

Teams from the Delhi Police and fire department were rushed to the schools and thorough search operations were launched. However, the threats were found to be hoaxes in most schools.

In the first three days of this week, 11 schools and one college in Delhi received similar threat emails.

ATISHI ATTACKS BJP

Former Chief Minister and AAP leader Atishi, who previously headed the Education department, accused the BJP government of failing to provide "safety or security to our children".

"More than 20 schools have received bomb threats today! Think of the trauma that children, parents and teachers would be going through. The BJP controls all 4 engines of governance in Delhi, and is not yet able to provide any safety or security to our children! Shocking!" Atishi tweeted.
