Culinary enthusiasts are breaking traditional flavour barriers. You may ask how? Well, a street food vendor in Kolkata has set her foot in the market with a new dish, called Biryani Momo. Yes, the new dish has chicken biryani stuffed inside a momo.

A food blogger shared a video of 'Biryani Momo' on his Instagram page 'haomaokhaovlogs', with the hope of offering a distinctive fusion to people that promises to elevate their culinary experience.

In the video, the food blogger can be seen having a bite of this biryani momo and praising it in front of the camera.

"Kolkata’s first time biryani momo! Yes, you heard it right! A new concept introduced by Momo Chayee! Will you be trying this or not," asks the Kolkata-based food blogger in the caption of his video.

Meanwhile, nobody was happy with this odd dish. With more than a million views, the video received severe backlash from the users.

"Destroyed the whole ethnicity of momo as well as biriyani," a user said. Another person titled the video "How to destroy two delicacies at the same time," in the comments section.

"Being a social media influencer, you have some responsibilities, too", reads another comment.

As opinions flowed in, some mocked the new dish. While other users expressed that their sentiments were hurt.
