The crew of 20 Indians and a Sri Lankan native on the container vessel Dali that collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore will remain on board until the probe into the incident is completed, PTI reported. A spokesperson for Grace Ocean Pte, which owns the vessel, said the crew members were assisting the National Transportation Safety Board and Coast Guard with its investigation.

The spokesperson, however, did not give any timeline on how long the crew would have to stay on board. "At this time, we do not know how long the investigation process will take and until that process is complete, the crew will remain on board," the spokesperson said.

Jennifer Homendy, the head of the National Transportation Safety Board, has said the cargo ship contained a large quantity of hazardous and inflammable materials.

Six construction workers who were repairing potholes on the bridge when the accident occurred are presumed dead. However, so far, only two bodies have been found.
