A fire broke out in one coach of the New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express in UP's Etawah on Wednesday. No one was injured in the fire incident, as per officials.

According to officials, when the train was passing through the Sarai Bhupat station, the station master had noticed smoke in the sleeper coach.

The station master then stopped the train by informing the train driver and guard about the smoke. Subsequently, the passengers were taken out of the sleeper coach.

Several passengers jumped out of the train as soon as it caught on fire. According to sources, there were more passengers on the train than its capacity.

The fire incident occurred near the Sarai Bhupat Railway station in Uttar Pradesh. The fire has now been brought under control. It is not yet known what caused the fire.
