Delhi Metro has been making headlines every now and then for bizarre events unfolding in the public transport. From couples dancing to aggressive brawls, Delhi Metro seems to be the hotspot of all such events. Now, in another such instance, a man slapped an army officer after he found out that he was secretly taking pictures of his friend’s legs. Taking to Reddit, the man shared that he has been feeling guilty about slapping the officer but he could not help it.
The user, going by the name Anshul Bansal, explained that it happened when he was traveling with his friend on the Yellow line. His friend, a 24-year-old female, was wearing a knee-length dress. “There was a man in his forties, dressed in an army uniform, sitting in front of us. Beside him was a guy we’ll call Ankit. Ankit indicated to me that the army man was taking inappropriate pictures of my friend’s legs,” he wrote.
On knowing about this, the man lost his temper and confronted the army man. He then snatched his phone, checked his gallery, and found those photos “I completely lost control and slapped him so hard that it made a loud noise,” the man wrote.
As a result, everyone in the metro came looking. All of them told him not to beat him since he is in uniform and advised us to report the incident.
The Reddit user further explained that the officer seemed frightened. Maybe he was worried about his family getting to know about his wrongdoings.
Soon after all the ruckus, two metro officers arrived and asked him what happened and why did he slap him. They told them everything but decided not to file a formal complaint against him. ”I didn’t want to break his family’s heart by revealing his actions, thinking of them just like my family. So, we changed to another metro quietly,” the person mentioned.
