Mumbai: A 28-year-old man died and a woman was hospitalised after both reportedly fell ill during a music event held at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai's Worli area. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The two attendees were among those present at the "Klangkuenstler All Night Long" event. According to police officials, they began feeling unwell during the programme and were taken to nearby hospitals for medical attention.The man was declared dead upon arrival at Breach Candy Hospital, while the woman was admitted to Jaslok Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are awaiting the results of the post-mortem and forensic examinations to establish the exact cause of death. Officials said that no final conclusions have been reached at this stage.As part of the investigation, authorities are reviewing CCTV footage, examining the venue's facilities, and recording statements from individuals connected to the event. A forensic team is also assessing various aspects of the venue, including crowd conditions and infrastructure.
