As Pakistan continues to use drones and missiles against India, the Indian Army's Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) on Saturday wrote on X that Pakistan's "blatant escalation" with drone strikes and other munitions continues along India's western borders.

ADGPI wrote, "In one such incident, today at approximately 5 AM, Multiple enemy armed drones were spotted flying over Khasa Cantt, Amritsar. The hostile drones were instantly engaged and destroyed by our air defence units." It added that Pakistan's "blatant attempt" to violate India's sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable.

This is also the first time since Pakistan initiated attacks against India that the Indian Army has shared photos and videos of Pakistani drone debris. The Army also shared that Pakistan launched Byker YIHA III Kamikaze drones in Amritsar, Punjab endangering the residential areas of Punjab. The attempt was thwarted by Army Air Defence guns at 5 AM today, destroying the same in the air. "The drone was aimed to target civilian areas and innocent civilians," Defence officials said.
