According to a report, Shiv Sena’s local election candidate, Kiran Chaubey, was reportedly travelling with her aides and driver, Lakshman Shinde, on an electoral campaign at the time of the incident. Shinde, who suffered the heart attack, lost control of the vehicle, which then rammed into four to five other vehicles while crossing the flyover’s central divider.
