Be it cricket or global summits, Pakistan has once again faced ridicule after an official release from its Ministry of Foreign Affairs carried more than one glaring typo.
The headline of the statement read, “Prime Minister’s Visit to the Unites States of Americas".
The release referred to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to the United States of America at the invitation of US President Donald Trump to attend the inaugural session of the Board of Peace on 19 February 2026.
This is not the first such incident. Last year, during a tense moment in international politics, Sharif became the focus of social media over another alleged typo.
While condemning Israel’s reported airstrikes on Iran, a screenshot circulated online claiming he had written “I condom the attack" instead of “I condemn".
The error quickly drew attention online, turning a serious geopolitical issue into a wave of memes and jokes.
Social media users reacted swiftly. An X account named “Pakistan (Civilians)" commented, “Lanat ha tm pr. Yahoodi ki olado."
Another user responded by pointing out “Unites" with a laughing smiley, further adding to the mockery over the spelling mistake.
