India and the UK on Tuesday said the long-awaited and historic trade agreement had been signed between both countries. This came following a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his UK counterpart Keir Starmer.

India and the UK on Tuesday said the long-awaited and historic trade agreement had been signed between both countries. This came following a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his UK counterpart Keir Starmer.

Calling the deal a "historic milestone", PM Modi said the move will further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership and catalyse trade, investment, growth, job creation and innovation in both our economies.
