Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden held a bilateral meeting in Delhi on the sidelines of the G20 summit and discussed various topics such as technology, artificial intelligence, nuclear energy, defence to further strengthen India-US ties.
From collaborations on nuclear energy to commencing commercial agreements for manufacturing GE F-414 jet engines in India, nothing was left untouched.
The leaders meticulously discussed working together to bridge the gender digital divide, along with welcoming Indo-US major defence partnerships.

PM Modi and US President Joe Biden met at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi and discussed a wide range of issues and measures to further deepen the bilateral relationship between New Delhi and Washington DC.

After US President Joe Biden landed in New Delhi, his first order of business will be to head straight to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hold talks with him.

Adding to the list of world leaders arriving in New Delhi, South Kore President Yoon Suk Yeol landed to attend the G20 Summit.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the country’s Hindu community not to consider themselves minorities, saying the Muslim majority nation to everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion as they fought for its independence against Pakistani occupation forces in 1971.
“Why would you call yourselves a minority? … There is nothing like minority and majority here,” Hasina said during an interaction with leading Hindu community leaders coinciding with Janmashtami at her official Gano Bhaban residence here. A copy of her remarks was posted by Awami League on X.

As the world leaders started to arrive in Delhi to attend the much-anticipated G20 summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was “deligted” to host the event.
Taking to X (formally Twitter), the PM said, “India is delighted to host the 18th G20 Summit on 09-10 September 2023 at New Delhi’s iconic Bharat Mandapam. This is the first ever G20 Summit being hosted by India. I look forward to productive discussions with world leaders over the next two days.”

On the second day of the summit, PM Modi is set to attend a working lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron and hold an informal meeting with Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, as well as engage in bilateral talks with leaders from Comoros, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, the European Union, Brazil, and Nigeria.

Union Minister of State Prahlad Singh Patel received European Council President Charles Michel at the Delhi airport on Thursday night, 7 September, ahead of the two-day G20 Summit.

Under India's presidency, the G20 Summit 2023 is being hosted under the theme 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' or 'One Earth, One Family, One Future.’
As part of security measures, the capital city will witness the deployment of nearly 1,30,000 security officers, bomb squads, commandos, snipers, and more.
The Summit will see a line-up of over 25 heads of state, including US President Joe Biden and UK PM Rishi Sunak.
The Summit will be held at New Delhi's Pragati Maidan.
