The US Embassy has said that it is not in a position at this time to evacuate or directly assist American citizens seeking to leave Israel, urging individuals to make their own security plans amid the evolving situation.

In an advisory, the embassy stated that it “is not in a position at this time to evacuate or directly assist Americans in departing Israel," and provided information about alternative travel abeing arranged by Israeli authorities.

The Israeli Ministry of Tourism has begun operating shuttle services to the Taba Border Crossing as of March 2. Americans wishing to use the shuttle must register through the Ministry’s evacuation form.

The embassy clarified that it cannot endorse or discourage the shuttle option. “The U.S. Embassy cannot make any recommendation (for or against) the Ministry of Tourism’s shuttle. If you choose to avail yourself of this option to depart, the US government cannot guarantee your safety," the advisory said, adding that the information was shared as a courtesy for those planning to exit Israel.

US Warns Citizens To ‘Depart Now’

The US State Department urged Americans to leave much of the Middle East, including Egypt and the Gulf states, due to the US-Israeli war on Iran.

The State Department “urges Americans to DEPART NOW from the countries below using available commercial transportation, due to serious safety risks," wrote Mora Namdar, the assistant secretary of state for consular affairs, in a social media post.

The countries or territories included in the warning were Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian territories, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

What Trump On US Might

President Donald Trump said the United States is “not where we want to be" in terms of stockpiles of its most advanced weapons, even as American forces continue deploying significant quantities of munitions in operations against Iran.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “At the highest end, we have a good supply, but are not where we want to be," while asserting that the US has ample reserves of “medium and upper medium grade" weapons.

“Wars can be fought ‘forever,’ and very successfully, using just these supplies (which are better than other countries’ finest arms!)," he added, referring to those mid-tier weapon stockpiles.
