“Yes, America’s got talent indeed and a lot of it is coming from India,” Anand Mahindra asserted as he applauded an Indian-origin girl who participated in ‘America’s Got Talent’. Pranysqa Mishra, 9, impressed the judges on the reality show as she performed Tina Turner’s iconic song ‘River Deep Mountain High’.
A resident of Florida, Pranysqa also received a Golden Buzzer from judge, supermodel Heidi Klum, who was left speechless after her performance.
Mahindra, equally delighted by Pranysqa’s performance, gave a big shoutout to the participant as he said in his post: “What on earth is going on? For the second time, within the past two weeks, a young—VERY young—woman of Indian origin has rocked the stage at @AGT with raw talent that is simply astonishing. With skills acquired in indigenous American genres of music. Rock and Gospel. Pranysqa Mishra is just NINE years old.”
A video of Pranysqa’s performance has gone viral on social media in which she said that she would call her grandmother if she is selected. Pranysqa, of course, was selected as she video-called her grandmother in an emotional moment.
“I had tears too when they called her grandmother,” Mahindra said in his post.

Pranysqa, who was “scared and really excited” while performing on the stage of America’s Got Talent, said that she was accompanied by her parents and sister. Along with Pranysqa Mishra, her family was in tears as Heidi Klum went on stage to congratulate her for her “incredible” performance.
