Splitsvilla X6 contestant Preet Singh has alleged that she was physically assaulted at a club in Mumbai and shared a video showing visible injuries, including a swollen face and bruises.
In a post on Instagram, Preet said the incident left her shaken and raised concerns about women’s safety in the city. She claimed the altercation began while she was at the club with a friend and escalated quickly.
Detailing the incident, Preet wrote that she was “simply sitting and enjoying time” with a friend when a woman approached them and began questioning their presence at the venue.
“What began as a verbal argument quickly turned into something horrific when her male friend stepped in and physically assaulted us (sic),” she wrote in the caption underneath the post.
Additionally, Preet alleged that she was hit repeatedly, resulting in a broken tooth and facial injuries. She added that the situation was brought under control only after others intervened.
In her post, she also claimed that the woman involved is a social media influencer, though she did not disclose any names.
The video drew strong reactions online, with several users urging Preet to identify the accused and pursue legal action.
Fellow reality show contestant Zalak Gohil wrote, “That night was a nightmare for us. I know what Preet went through, and it takes real courage to speak about it (sic).”
Ruru Thakur, who participated in Splitsvilla X6 as a wildcard, commented, “This is so sick. Hope you're doing well. Please take care (sic).” Himanshu Arora also expressed support, asking her to reach out if needed.
Actor Fatima Sana Shaikh urged her to file a police complaint and wished her a speedy recovery. Others who also extended support were Uorfi Javed, Simran Khan, Rushali Yadav, Anisha Shinde, Shreya Kalra, Khushi Rawal, and others.
Preet was a contestant on Splitsvilla X6, where she was part of the Paisa Villa segment before being eliminated a few episodes ago. The show is hosted by Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra, astreams on JioHotstar.
Other contestants currently on the show include MTV Roadies XX winner Gullu, former Roadies participants Himanshu Arora, Yogesh Rawat and Niharika Tiwari, as well as former Splitsvilla contestant Ruru Thakur, among others.
