Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala is set to take the stage once again — this time through holographic technology.

The singer’s first-ever hologram concert, titled ‘Signed To God World Tour’, will begin in Canada, with the opening show scheduled for October 8, 2026, at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

The concert will use a 3D holographic projection of Moosewala, accompanied by his original vocals. Organisers are expected to combine the hologram with cinematic visuals, stage effects and immersive technology to recreate the experience of watching the late singer perform live.

The project was first announced in July 2025 as a tribute to Moosewala and his musical legacy. The concept aims to bring his performances to audiences even after his death, using technology to recreate his presence on stage.

Moosewala had a particularly strong international following, with his music gaining popularity across Canada, the UK, the US and Australia, apart from India.

How Did Sidhu Moosewala Die?

Sidhu Moosewala was killed on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28. The singer was travelling in his vehicle in Jawaharke village in Punjab’s Mansa district when armed assailants opened fire.

He was taken to hospital following the attack but succumbed to his injuries.

Moosewala’s death triggered widespread outrage among his fans and led to a continued campaign by his parents seeking justice for their son.

Moosewala’s Legacy Lives On

Before his death, Moosewala had established himself as one of the biggest names in Punjabi music. He was known not only as a singer but also as a songwriter and producer, with a massive following among young listeners in India and abroad.

Several of his songs have been released posthumously and have continued to attract millions of views, keeping his music in the public spotlight.

Now, the ‘Signed To God World Tour’ will attempt to take that legacy a step further — bringing a digital version of Moosewala back to the stage for fans who never got the chance to see him perform live.

The Toronto concert is set to mark the beginning of a new chapter in how technology is being used to preserve and recreate the performances of artists who are no longer alive.
