Salman Khan was seen addressing and accepting an apology from paparazzi at the success party of Raja Shivaji in Mumbai on Wednesday (May 20). The paps apologised to him after he expressed his anger and displeasure over their conduct outside Hinduja hospital during a personal emergency.

The photographers approached the actor at the event to express regret, after which Salman acknowledged them and appeared to put the matter to rest.

At the event, Salman was surrounded by paps apologising while attempting to greet him. The actor leaned in to understand the situation and, upon realising they were saying sorry for the earlier incident, calmly responded and accepted their apology.

Speaking about the circumstances, he said, “Inki wife bahut beemar thi (his wife was very sick)”, referring to a critical medical emergency involving the wife of someone close to him during the hospital visit.

SALMAN KHAN'S SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

The apology comes shortly after Salman expressed his anger on social media over paparazzi behaviour outside a hospital. In a series of emotional posts, the actor criticised attempts to capture images during what he described as a sensitive and personal moment.

In one of his posts, Salman wrote, “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, took care to make sure that they also earn their bread and butter. But if they wanna make money from my losses, keep quiet, don’t enjoy... (sic).”

He further added, "Aise main sau jala doonga.Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga (In such a situation, I will go to any extent and won’t hesitate to take strong action. Next time, try this with me over someone’s pain or suffering. Just try it. When someone from your own family is in the hospital, will I react the same way) (sic)?"

In another strongly worded post, he wrote, "Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haar (I’m 60-years-old, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight - remember that. Even if you put me in jail) (sic)."

WHAT HAPPENED OUTSIDE HINDUJA HOSPITAL

On May 19, several videos from outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital showed Salman Khan appearing visibly agitated with photographers gathered around the premises.

Reports circulating online suggest that paparazzi first clicked his pictures when his vehicle was stopped at a traffic signal and later followed him to the hospital. As the actor exited the facility, some photographers were also heard shouting “bhai bhai” in an attempt to get his attention.

In the viral clips, Salman was seen asking the photographers to keep their distance and maintain silence outside a hospital setting. He also questions their behaviour by asking how they would feel if a close family member were undergoing treatment inside. The photographers were subsequently seen apologising to him.
