
Inshorts CEO Azhar Iqubal was announced the newest judge of Shark Tank India 3 on Friday. Iqubal joins OYO CEO Ritesh Agarwal and Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal as the other two new judges for the upcoming season. The news of Iqubal joining as judge on Shark Tank India 3 was announced on X (formerly Twitter).
A graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, the 30-year-old began Inshorts as a Facebook page, with Deepit Purkayastha and Anunay Arunav, in 2013 and later in the year, launched the Inshorts app, that was accessible on smartphones. Two years later, in 2015, Inshorts became accessible on iPhones.
Agarwal was announced as the new judge on September 30 while Goyal's announcement was made, last Saturday. Zomato sources said that Goyal will be the judge for only two episodes and those episodes could have Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal as the other judges.
The third season of Shark Tank India is set to premiere in January 2024. Filming for the season has already begun. The first season of Shark Tank India premiered in December 2021 with Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Ashneer Grover, Ghazal Alagh, Namita Thapar, Peeyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh as the seven judges. In the second season, Amit Jain took Grover's place in the panel.
