

Music’s biggest night is back, the lights are on in Los Angeles, and it’s officially time to hand out some golden gramophones. The 2026 Grammy Awards are underway, bringing together the year’s biggest names for a star-packed celebration of music/ The annual ceremony is being held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1, with top artists, producers and industry figures gathering to see who takes home the night’s biggest honours.
Leading the nominations this year is Kendrick Lamar with nine nods. Lady Gaga follows closely alongside producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff, who earned seven nominations each. Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas and Sabrina Carpenter picked up six nominations apiece. Other strong contenders this year included Doechii, SZA, writer-producer Andrew Watt, Tyler, the Creator, and Clipse members Pusha T and Malice.
The evening also featured a packed performance lineup including Carpenter, Clipse and Pharrell Williams, along with all eight Best New Artist nominees: Thomas, Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr and The Marías.
Hosting duties once again fall to Trevor Noah, who returns for his sixth consecutive year as emcee. According to a press release, this marks Noah’s final time hosting the Grammys.
